What It Is
Glass ceramic coating is a liquid nano-ceramic that bonds to the outside of your glass and cures into a clear, slick, water-repelling layer. You can't see it, but you notice it the first time it rains.
At highway speed, water beads up and blows off the windshield. Bugs, road film and hard-water spots have a harder time sticking, so cleaning takes a fraction of the effort.
Why It's Worth It
-
Clearer view in the rain
Water beads and sheets off instead of smearing across the glass.
-
Bugs wipe off
Splatter and road grime lose their grip, so a quick wipe does the job.
-
Fewer water spots
Minerals in tap and rain water struggle to bond to coated glass.
-
Easier winters
Frost and ice release more easily from a slick surface.
How I Do It
- 01
Deep clean
Every window is washed and decontaminated to remove film, minerals and old products.
- 02
Polish and prep
The glass is polished smooth and wiped down so the coating bonds evenly.
- 03
Apply and buff
The coating goes on window by window and is buffed to a streak-free finish.
- 04
Cure and check
It cures in the shop, then I check every window and go over care with you.

Yes. Many drivers find they need them less at speed, but wipers are safe on coated glass.
No. It makes glass easier to clean and see through, but it does not protect against rock chips or impact damage.
